Back in 1986, Paffenberger et al, published one of the first articles describing the impact of physical activity on health. Today, everyone in the first world knows that insufficient physical activity is one of the leading risk factors for death worldwide. Still, 6 out of 10 people in the EU never or seldom exercise.
Joyer health has developed an application to fight sedentarism, enabling doctors to provide personalised physical activity plans to patients, based on their health status.
