I have background in biochemistry (M.Sc.) and computer science (M.Sc. level qualification + lots of Post-Graduate studies).
Did my PhD in structural biology / biophysics (Nuclear Magnetic Resonance spectroscopy).
PostDoc and semi-independent Senior Scientist at ETH Zurich – combining computational systems biology modeling with structural biology / biophysics data. Wrote multiple grants – overall raising ~380k€ funding.

Since 3 years am at a Biotech startup (InterAx Biotech AG) – now officially “Head of Computational and Biomolecular Science (also acting as CTO ad interim) – overseeing biomolecular science + computational biology + computational chemistry + machine learning and artificial intelligence. Have 4 direct reports + helping coordinate 4 people in matrix-style organisation.

I also have some startup experience: (1) two attempts of own startups – in computer graphics, and then in scientific data management; (2) now helping our company CEO and CFO in various startup/investor activities.

Would be keen to contribute (also pro bono) to mentoring or due diligence activities in Computational Life Science / Life Science AI / Structural and Systems biology / Computational Chemistry.
