Help us confirm that you're an expert

After graduated from Cambridge with a PhD in Biochemistry, I joined Image Analysis Group (IAG) to pursue a career in the healthcare industry. IAG is a contract research organisation (CRO) that provides full medical imaging service for preclinical and clinical research. IAG has developed its proprietary cloud-based software platform with advanced functionality for analysis of quantitative MRI sequences, as well as certified clinical trial management system. The company was founded by a mathematician and the R&D team is operated by computer scientists and engineers. With a strong grounding of medical science knowledge, I took an important role as the Medical Science Liaison (MSL) at IAG, in order to build a scientific connection between IAG’s technology and the medical communities. Reporting directly to the Head of Medical Affairs, my main responsibilities at IAG include: 1) increasing scientific reputation through global collaboration work and publications; 2) building and managing partnership with research bodies, healthcare professionals, Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) and bio-pharma clients; 3) planning direction of all functions of imaging clinical trial designs in line with stringent ICH/GCP guidelines and FDA regulations, compliance and quality assurance standards; 4) acquiring and securing business opportunities; 5) liaising with external and internal stakeholders for project management. Since I joined IAG, we have expanded our therapeutic area from immunology only (MSK conditions such as rheumatoid arthritis, osteoarthritis), into oncology (e.g. solid tumours, glioblastoma) and neurology (e.g. multiple sclerosis, adrenoleukodystrophy) territory, with a track record of successfully implementing and validating exploratory imaging biomarkers as a partner to pharmaceutical companies managing the imaging component of clinical trials.
