Graduated in Biological Sciences and with a master’s degree in research in clinical sciences, in 2015 I obtained my phD in molecular genetics. With the aim of bringing the experience gained and exploring the most advanced technology in the field of next generation sequencing, after completing my doctorate I joined Imperial College London as a head of the BRC Genomics Facility. There, I led the lab activities, providing advice to clinicians and scientists on experimental design, library preparation, and sequencing. After leading the Genome Sequencing Platform, I joined Thrombotargets S.L as a research scientist among the R&D team. There, I focused my research on the development of new therapeutical
compounds in the hemostasis and coagulation field, acquiring outstanding experience in project management within the pharma environment.
My recent incorporation into the prostate cancer research group of the Vall d’Hebron Oncology Institute in 2019 represented the ideal opportunity for me to apply my scientific expertise in molecular biology and genomics to translational medicine.
