Naslin Rasheed

I have worked across the healthcare and biotech sectors across a spectrum of functions, from R&D to private equity investing, and am now back in the industry.

I presently work at Genentech, focusing on commercial evaluation of pipeline and business development / partnering assets (primarily in immuno-oncology), as well as developing a commercialization strategy for the company’s first personalized cancer therapeutic program.

Prior to rejoining the industry, I was in healthcare private equity and corporate development. The former was with the private equity arm of the Singapore sovereign wealth fund GIC, where I evaluated global private equity investment opportunities primarily in healthcare and consumer sectors. I also spent a few years in healthcare business development.

I started my career in basic R&D, and have completed graduate and undergraduate level work in biomedical sciences. I am also a published author, with 2 first-author publications in leading scientific journals.

I have an MBA in Finance and Healthcare Management, and Bachelors and Masters degrees in Biotechnology and Biomedical Sciences.
