My whole career path is linked to the delivering of knowledge, expertise and skills to the persons who were addressing various scientific or educational demands. Since I have obtained my PhD degree in 2008, I was thinking to focus on scientific service providing in terms of methodological and technological assistance to researchers, starting to develop and implement bioinformatics in research. Then, I was involved in establishment of the University of the Academy of Sciences of Moldova (UnASM) and the Center of Molecular Biology for the scientific research training of young people wanting to take Academic career path. Later, I received one year CERES-Marie Curie fellowship at the Cluster of Biomedicine, Italy, my responsibilities being database search, R language based scripts elaboration, microarray data analysis, and meta-data exploratory analysis. I got knowledge of genomics and bioinformatic service delivering, some quality control issues. Besides, I was involved in elaboration of EU FP7 project proposal, with the responsibility of communication with Russian speaking countries for the creation of the project consortium. On my return to UnASM I was appointed as the head of Laboratory of Bioinformatics and we have launched bioinformatic services in frame of the University, ensuring scientific research, as well as administrative duties in frame of research projects. After two years of activity, I obtained a job offer from “Global Biomarketing Group Moldova” (GBG) company, as sales director responsible for laboratory diagnostic and research equipment, reagents, consumables. The position offered me the opportunity to improve my communication and negotiation skills, to form time management and prioritization skills, budgeting skills, enrich leadership experience, and others. My communication with different manufacturers supposed performance of customer complaint procedures, notification on products quality issues. Regularly I was in direct contact with the customers, determining their needs, elaborating and offering complex solutions for medical centers and laboratories, equipment, reagents and consumables logistics, laboratory management solutions, including LIS. My personal engagement was necessary assisting the customers in lab handling activities, checking reagents tracing and storage, troubleshooting and identifying customer errors and knowledge lack, quality control management issues. My current position as coordinator of research activities at the State University of Medicine and Pharmacy makes me involved in development and management of the measures for the standardization of operation procedures, implementation of the Quality Manual in research for ISO accreditation. Besides, I am responsible for the implementation of the University’s KMS for Research activity. I organize and manage seminars, trainings, conferences, dissemination events for scientific staff from clinical and scientific laboratories and departments. I had the possibility to perform several training stages at different manufacturers and my actual laboratory experience comprise nucleic acids and protein extraction and purification, PCR, RT and qPCR, NA and protein electrophoresis, Sanger sequencing; ELISA, blotting; IHCh, FISH, CISH, IIFT for in vitro diagnostics. Generally, I feel open and ready to acquire new knowledge and skills, behaving friendly to gain people trust and engagement. I am eager to share knowledge and skills to my colleagues, always try to be accurate to details, even working under pressure, especially when it can give raise to the job quality or improve the results. By bringing together my educational and scientific background along with the experience gained as sales director, I believe to be particularly well qualified for the proposed opportunity and would be happy to contribute to the BioExpert network development.
