Medicinal chemist with more than 9 years experience in a wide range of therapeutic areas and target clases (CNS, immune-oncology, orphan diseases and inflammation). Nowadays working at Gain Therapeutics, looking for new therapies in the area of neurodegenerative diseases and oncology.

Involved in the research process from hit identification to candidate selection, working together with computational chemists, machine learning scientists, biologists and project managers. We identify and optimize allosteric binding sites that have never been targeted before to treat disorders characterized by protein miss-folding.

Prior to this I worked for 5 years at Sygnature Discovery, a leading Drug Discovery CRO company based in the UK with expertise across a range of therapeutic and biological target classes. During this time, I had the opportunity to work in two big integrated programs where we managed to find a candidate compound to move forward clinical trials and allowed me to be the inventor of several patents.
