Grant Campany

I’m a hands-on, C-level biopharmaceutical and medical device executive passionate about helping founders launch, fund, and/or grow disruptive businesses by creating a focused and fundable strategy.

I have worked at 3M Pharmaceuticals, Chiron Corp., Onyx Pharmaceuticals and helped launch several start-up companies, I know how to navigate complexity and chaos to create a clear vision for the executive team. I have partnered with founders to provide the business acumen and operational leadership required to attract investors, staff, and advisors.

For the past 25 years, I’ve been in roles leading corporate strategy, driving M&A, developing term sheets, and negotiating complex business transactions. In addition, this expertise has enabled me to close over $250M in corporate deals and raise over $20M in start-up capital.

I’ve also contributed to the renowned non-profit organizations involved in funding innovative science, such as the Gordon and Betty Moore Foundation and the XPRIZE Foundation. These roles enabled me to leverage my business skills to help fund start-up companies aligned with the missions of the funders for the benefit of the communities each start-up serves.
