For 3 years, I have been working in a research laboratory in the field of chronic inflammatory diseases. Specifically, my research career has been focused on the study of chronic musculoskeletal pathologies from a pathophysiological and immunological point of view. Furthermore, we have been able to demonstrate a promising bone regeneration pathway with possible transfer to the patient in the not too distant future. The study of bone comorbidity in HIV-patients has provided me a solid experience in the study of chronic inflammation markers and innate and adaptative immune system responses. On the other hand, I have studied the effects of chiropractic manipulation (with ActivatorV) in osteoarthritis (OA) model of rabbits.
