Help us confirm that you're an expert

Currently, I am employed as an Innovation Broker for the Foundation for Polish Science in Warsaw, Poland. My focus is project scouting across life science disciplines, technical due dilligence, developing business networks with IP experts and VC firms, supporting the development of IP strategy and management and research commercialization. I closely collaborate with scientists and business professionals in order to support start-up creation and technology transfer from academia to industry.

Prior to that, I worked as a scientist for a Cambridge-based drug discovery start-up that created a proprietary technology platform for the development of fully human antibody fragments for use as therapeutics in oncology. Previous experiences include working as a scientist in the Drug Discovery Unit at CRUK Beatson Institute in Glasgow, and a PhD in biochemistry from Ludwig-Maximilian University in Munich, Germany. As a Master’s student, I was a recipient of a competitive scholarship that enabled me to carry out my whole Master’s research project at the University of Chicago, USA.

My motivation to become an expert for the Bioexpert Network stems from my desire to support the development and implementation of innovative technologies and to build highly collaborative networks to drive research commercialization.
