I obtained my PhD in 2012 from university of Houston, TX, USA, focusing on regulatory pathways in breast cancer and mammary stem cells. Later I had a postdoc position at UGent-VIB, Belgium and studies genomic dynamics leading to stress tolerance in plants. I worked as TT officer for one year at VIB during which I trained in four disciplines of TTO, drug discovery, IP, valorization and business development. Currently, I am a patent advisor for life sciences project in a patent firm in Gent, Belgium.
