I obtained my medical degree in the Universidad Nacional de Córdoba in Argentina, and then completed a residency on Clinical Medicine (Universidad del Nordeste) and another residency on Infectious Diseases (Instituto Universitario del CEMIC). I have a Master degree in Clinical Research from the Hospital Italiano de Buenos Aires as well as completing a 2-year internship in ther clinical research department in that hospital.
From 2019 to this day I am a regional medical liaison for the HIV Vaccine Trials Nertwork (HVTN) and the COVID-19 Prevention Network (CoVPN), representing Argentina and Mexico. My work there other than operational and clinical site-level issues is within the clinical safety area of some protocols in the network being carried out in said countries. I am also an assistant professor in the Hospital Italiano de Buenos Aires’s master degree programs for the Health Informatics and the Clinical Research programs.
