I hold a PI in the Research Unit at Hospital Universitario Nuestra Señora de Candelaria and I am the Scientific Director of the Genomics Division at the Instituto Tecnológico y de Energías Renovables (ITER) in Santa Cruz de Tenerife, Spain. I have been scientifically tackling the disease causes (mainly affecting the respiratory system) using genomics, more recently aiming to leverage all this knowledge and our resources to move towards precision medicine in our region.
