I am a computational biologist by training: equally fascinated by the potential of computers to solve problems and by the diversity and complexity of the life on our planet. I hold a BsC Degree in Biology (UB), an MsC in Bioinformatics (UPF) and a PhD in Biomedicine (UPF, extraordinary prize). I have published several research articles in the fields of bioinformatics, genomics, and evolution.

Currently I am the bioinformatics specialist in one of the best hospitals in Spain, working in clinical diagnostics using massive parallel sequencing technologies.
