I am an Associate Researcher in the Guangzhou Regenerative Medicine and Health-Guangdong Laboratory (Bioland Laboratory) in Guangzhou, China. My main interests are Super-Resolution microscopy, cutting edge imaging techniques and genome architecture.

My formal training inclues a PhD in Biomedicine at the Centre for Genomic Regulation and a Master in Molecular and Cellular Biology at the Universidad Autonoma de Madrid.

During my scientific career I have gained knowledge in physics, photonics and image analysis. I have worked in cutting edge projects designing biomedical and research equipment (Cellviewer, financed by the EU). I have also designed and participated in projects using Deep Learning and Artificial intelligence to study and classify super resolution images.
