XANA BELASTEGUI MACADAM

Developing a professional career in the agribusiness sector, currently mainly with business development and commercialization responsibilities, I have transitioned from R&D (Research & Development) in plant biology and biotechnology, to the commercial side of the agribusiness, holding the Chief Business Officer position and building the Business Development department and team. I also became shareholder of Iden Biotechnology, a biotech SME.
With a PhD in Sciences and biologist by training, I have navigated on the public research sector in Spain and abroad, as well as on the private sector.
Conscious of the importance of a continuous learning, I maintain an active training to complement my knowledge and skills with extra education on product development, finances, commercialization, agribusiness, market analysis, leadership communication and team management.
I aim at continuing to enjoy my professional life and reaching my objectives with a strong entrepreneurial mindset, strategic thinking, execution, resilient and team-oriented attitude.
