Vasanthanarayan Murugesan

I am Vasanth, a wrap-up postdoctoral employee at the Max Planck Institute for Molecular Cell Biology and Genetics in Dresden, Germany. During my time there, I made a significant discovery regarding a novel biophysical mechanism for protein entry into the nucleus. With a background in Bioengineering, I have accumulated over 7 years of research experience, specializing in Nuclear Structure, Biological Condensates, and DNA damage. My expertise spans various techniques including molecular biology, biophysics, and quantitative imaging. I possess extensive experience collaborating within interdisciplinary teams and have effectively communicated my innovative findings through presentations and co-authored multiple research papers.
