I am currently working as Senior Specialist – Product Quality Leader at AstraZeneca in Gaithersburg, MD, USA. I have 10 years of experience in BioPharmaceutical industry. I have over 5 years of experience working on CMC teams, taking molecules from pre-clinical to market. I possess broad knowledge in Quality Assurance, Quality Control, Protein Purification, Facility Design and Controls, Environmental Monitoring, Viral Clearance, Validation among others. I am currently member of PDA as well as member of the board on Washington D.C. area chapter of PDA.

Prior to my current role, I worked as Lab Supervisor at MilliporeSigma in Rockville, MD, USA where I managed Viral Clearance laboratory and business. I have experience working in Contract Testing organization. Prior to becoming Lab Supervisor, I worked as Quality Engineer at MilliporeSigma where I led cross-funcational teams to reduce errors in processes and as a result our Right First Time metric improved between 15-25% for those processes. I hold Bachelor of Pharmacy and MS in Pharmaceutical Manufacturing & Engineering degrees.
