Raquel Martin

I am a neuroscientist and researcher specialized in biotechnology, advanced therapies medicinal products (ATMPs) development and GMP compliance. Since 2012 until 2017 I have been the Qualified Person and Quality Assurance Manager of a GMP academic facility at the University of Barcelona. My work consisted in the coordination and execution of technology transfer projects based on the translation of developmental protocols into clinical production of cell and gene medicinal products; oversight manufacturing and quality control of ATMPs under GMP compliance, training of multidisciplinary teams, quality control management and conduction of inspections. In the present I am working as a consultant for a Biotech company assessing the development of a tissue engineered product based on stem cells and a nanofiber scaffold.
