I am a Scientist and Team Leader with deep expertise in process development for vaccine manufacturing.
I hold a Master Degree in Biotechnology and a PhD in Biochemical engineering.

Throughout my scientific carrier I have acquired solid knowledge in bioprocess development, particularly in viral vectors for vaccines and gene therapy applications. I have been living and working in several European countries and am used to work in a multicultural environment.

Besides science I am also very interested in the subjects of innovation and open innovation approaches. I have attended a course at IMD-Business school called Being Innovative complementing previous courses on bio-entrepreneurship and design thinking that I attended at Nova business school in Lisbon.

I am keen in discussing with young entrepreneurs in live science their disruptive approaches for revolutionising the competing landscape in the bio-pharma industry.
