I am a highly committed and self-motivated scientist with 10+ years experience in basic, translational, and preclinical research, and I am very enthusiastic to continue adding value to science in the biomedical field.
I am currently working as a Postdoctoral scientist for the Spanish National Research Council at the Institute of Cancer Molecular and Cell Biology. The main focus of my research is the identification and characterization of epigenetics and epitranscriptomics modifications regulated by human VRK1 kinase, particularly in the context of cancer, and neurodegenerative syndromes.
