Nicolas Das Neves

I am an Expert Reviewer for the European Commission where I advise the EC on the next-gen science-based projects to fund.
I review projects in the following area: chemistry, (nano)-material, medical device, digital science/industry (IA, IOT), cleantech.

I also have strong business planning skills: at Bostik, I was the Technical Account Manager for Procter&Gamble, a leading company in the FMCG industry. I have built and led projects to define new products (smart adhesives for the FMCG industry)

I also have a strong understanding of the startup scene: with my own company, I advise and mentor early stage startups on their go-to-market strategy. Recently, I have worked with incubator Ionis 361. In the past, I advised a beautytech in Uganda to reframe its distribution channels using a Design Thinking approach.

I am currently the EMEA Sales Developer for The Sales Monkeys where I am focussing on deeptech and science-based startups to define their strategy and build the best sales team.

In parallel, I am also a Senior Advisor for Oono, a lean + digital consulting company in Toulon; I work with the CEO to define a new approach of the consulting market in light of the covid-19 crisis: so far, we have built relationship and partnership with the metropolitan area of Toulon, the TVT Innovation cluster as well as the MEDEF – the most powerful professional organization in France.

As for my eduction, I hold a double-master degree in Chemistry & Chemical Engineering, hold a PhD in Chemistry and certificates in Design Thinking and from the Rotterdam Business School about Innovation Management. In two months, I will also be Green Belt Lean Management certified.
