Highly experienced as expert as research scientist providing functional and strategic leadership in DMPK to a number of discovery and early development projects, covering all phases from early exploratory to the first in human stage.
I have DMPK leadership in multidisciplinary teams of scientists in several new chemical entities (NCE), reformulation and repositioning drug Discovery projects that covered a wide variety of targets and indications, including central nervous system (Alzheimer), autoimmune (rheumatoid arthritis, multiple sclerosis), respiratory (asthma, COPD) and dermatology diseases (psoriasis, atopic dermatitis, acne, rosacea, pruritus, warts). Participation in delivering 5 candidate drugs for development working with Regulatory DMPK to ensure a successful transition of drug candidates into development.
Responsible to identify emerging field technologies to implement internally, based on up-to-date scientific literature, attending symposiums, meetings, training courses and developing networks.
I have been also involved in the scientific evaluation and due diligence of in-licensing opportunities and programs both from biotech and pharma companies.
In order to integrate and coordinate innovation, digitalization, technologies and develop of new projects in I+D, I have complemented my scientific profile with an Strategic innovation executive education program in ESADE (Univerdidad Ramon LLull).
