Hello,
I have a master degree in telecommunications engineering, as well as a PhD in machine learning algorithm development for microarray data analysis (classification in cancer). Moreover I have been working for several years in bioinformatics research in genomics (at Centre for Genomic Regulation and currently at the Barcelona Supercomputing Center). I have been developing pipelines and tools for rare diseases diagnosis, tools to identify cancer-driver genes. More recently I led the development of transcriptomics analysis in RD-Connect consortium (focus on rare disease) .
I also have a complementary formation towards business generation from Design Health Barcelona (d·HEALTH Barcelona) postgraduate program, and I am part of EIT-Health network of referees for assigning funds to innovative projects close to market stage.
