Hello, my name is Lucia, I’ve grown up in Italy, then moved to Canada, the USA and the Netherlands during my studies, to finally land in the City of Lights (which I am not ready to leave!) In the last 8 years I supported a start-up in developing an innovative genomic technology and translating it into assays for basic research and clinical diagnostics. I held roles in R&D operations, technology-transfer, IP transactions, strategic marketing and partnership management. I worked extensively with molecular diagnostics professionals (Quest Diagnostics, other CLIA labs, major university hospitals) drug researchers (inhibitors & immunotherapies for oncology, gene therapies & genome editing), genomic technologies developers and suppliers of biological reagents and analytical systems. I currently lead the corporate innovation and product strategy for Genomic Vision (FR), focusing on identification of growth opportunities (market development, key capabilities, novel applications, business model innovation), strategic product planning and management of external collaborations. I foster evidence-based decisions, collaborative growth and inclusive management. I have a dual MSc degree in Bioengineering from Polimi (IT) & PolyMtl (CA) and did my PhD in Yong Chen’s Lab @ ENS Paris (FR).
