With my academic and professional background in wet lab and computational cancer genomics, I have firmly established myself as an expert in the field of cancer biology with a special focus on genomic aberrations in rare skin cancer. My journey began at the renowned Institute of Molecular Pathology (IMP) in Vienna, Austria, where I pursued my PhD studies. Here, I delved deep into the intricacies of cancer genomics, particularly focusing on the oncogenic mechanisms of viral species in rare skin cancer. This niche yet crucial area of study allowed me to bridge the gap between virology and oncology and combine computational and wet lab techniques, providing me with a comprehensive understanding. My research have been recognized in various high-impact publications, a testament to my skills and contributions to the field of cancer research.

Transitioning from academia to the industry, I now channel my expertise into the development of innovative products tailored for the cancer genomics community. Currently, I am associated with Ribbon Biolabs, a cutting-edge startup in Vienna, where we are at the forefront of pioneering solutions in the realm of DNA synthesis and cancer genomics. My comprehensive experience, spanning from fundamental research to product development, underscores my proficiency in helping entrepreneurs develop their business via BioExpert Network.

In addition to my technical expertise, I am also honing my entrepreneurial skills. I am a proud selected participant of the AustrianStartups Entrepreneurial Leadership Program.
