During my master and PhD I have been working on understanding the etio-pahtogenesis of Charcot-Marie-Tooth 1B disease (CMT1B). In addition I have been involved in the identification of novel therapies for treating CMT1B. During my first postdoc I have been working in understanding the role of a specific protein in neuromuscular diseases (Charcot-Marie-Tooth and Centro-Nuclear Myopathy). I then moved the focused of my research to drug screening and drug repurposing for paediatric neurodegenerative disease (Batten disease). Finally I moved to a company where I am acting as programm manager of drug discovery programs.
