I am currently Senior Project Manager at Chemotargets since 2021, a SME based in Barcelona which develops products, projects and services in drug discovery and development. I was previously Head of Drug Design at Esteve, one of the main Spanish pharma companies (1993-2007), Head of the Drug Discovery Platform at Barcelona Science Park (PCB), and coordinator of the Spanish Chemical Biology infrastructure integrated in the European infrastructure EU-OPENSCREEN (2007-2017), and Senior Researcher at Universitat Pompeu Fabra (UPF) (2017-2021), in the Innovative Medicines Initiative project eTRANSAFE (translational safety of pharpaceuticals). I studied Chemistry at Institut Químic de Sarrià, IQS (Universitat Ramon Llull, URL) (1977-1984) and a PhD in Biochemistry (Structural Biology) at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) (1986-1991)
