I am a currently working as a postdoctoral scientist at the Institute for Bioengineering of Catalonia (IBEC). My work is funded by European commission’s Horizon 2020 Future and Emerging Technologies (FET) Proactive programme, aiming to develop novel therapeutic targets and diagnostic devices for breast cancer and other solid tumours. My field of expertise is bioengineering, cancer biology and drug discovery. In parallel, I am responsible for the coordination of the in vitro and in vivo study to develop an antitumoral therapy, using peptido-mimetic drugs in close collaboration with industrial partners.
Finally, through my role as a project manager at Innovation Forum Barcelona, I am in direct contact with new and emerging technologies in the healthcare sector in Spain.
