• Currently, I am R&D Director at Emerald Health Biotechnology España a drug discovery company focuses in different biomedical fields (Neurological disorders, cardiovascular, metabolic and inflammation diseases), in this position I have the responsibility for the following functions: Responsible for directing the activities of the research department through subordinate managers; Long-term and short-term planning and supervision of research projects; decision-making on work programs; Monitoring project progression and program costs; Establishing collaboration with KOL on basic research relevant to long-term objectives; Collaborating on patent and grant applications and manuscripts for publication; Develop strategies to ensure effective achievement of scientific/business objectives; Monitoring and evaluation completion of tasks and projects; Developing budgets for capital expenditures, labor and contracts; Making final decision on administrative or operational matters; Representing the organization as prime internal and customer contact on contracts or operations or health authorities; Conducting briefing and technical meetings for top management and customer representatives; etc..
