I am an Organic Chemist with a strong background in peptide chemistry, bioconjugation chemistry, and antibody-drug conjugates. My interests are focused on translational research for proteins and peptides therapeutics. My post-doctoral research was focused in the development of new therapeutic peptides for infectious respiratory diseases in a collaborative project with the Pharmaceutical Company Almirall. My research involves the rational design and synthesis of biologically active peptides, as well as study and find out efficient ways to enhance it cell targeting and permeability through chemical synthesis and site-selective conjugation strategies.

I am currently working at Chemconnection (Ardena group), as a Scientist and my current position involve the development and cGMP production of novel active pharmaceutical ingredients and nanomedicines trying to bring innovative pharmaceuticals products to the clinic.
