I received my PhD degree in 2002 at the University of Caen (France) and worked between 2002 and 2004 as a postdoctoral associate at Pasteur Institute (Paris, France). I then moved to the Hospital Clinic of Barcelona (Spain) to work on the characterization of new and translational therapies for B lymphoid malignancies. Between 2008 and 2017, I hold a tenure track position at the Hemato-Oncology Department of the IDIBAPS research institute in Barcelona, focusing on the development of new epigenetic, oncogene-, and microenvironment-targeting drugs for aggressive B-cell lymphoma. In May 2017, I joined the Molecular Genetics Unit of the Hematology Department at the Vall d’Hebron University Hospital in Barcelona and initiated the development of innovative preclinical models of aggressive B-cell lymphoma, being my team hosted by the Experimental Hematology group, at the Vall d’Hebron Institute of Oncology (VHIO). Since November 2019, I lead the Lymphoma Translational Group at the Josep Carreras Leukemia Research Institute (IJC) in Barcelona area, with a special focus on oncogenic signalling, B-cell receptor pathway and the role of intrinsic protein homeostasis in the control of lymphoma-stroma crosstalk.
