Elena Garicano

I am an early career research scientist who to date has clearly demonstrated to be an excellent and innovative scientist and highly self-motivated. I completed my undergraduate in Food and Nutritional Science at Complutense University of Madrid, Faculty of Medicine. Afterwards, I completed my Master’s in Novel Foods at Autonomous University of Madrid, in the Research Institute in Food Sciences (CIAL) and in the Research Institute on Food & Health Sciences (IMDEA Food). I subsequently commenced a PhD in Food Technology at the Teagasc Food Research Centre, Cork, Ireland, which it is still undergoing. I am also the research data manager of the Research Department at Research Centers in Nutrition and Health, Spain. I already have a strong publication record (>30 peer reviewed manuscripts).
