During my PhD I specilized in the field of cancer genetics, mainly in the hereditary part of breast cancer; while collaborating in the breast cancer genetic counselling unit at Hosptial Clinico de Salamanca (Spain).

After my PhD I moved abroad and accept a position at University of Leicester to continue my research in breast cancer, now aiming to identify new cancer biomarkers that allow us to anticipate breast cancer and detect it earlier, using blood samples (liquid biopsy).

Seven years later, in 2021, I moved back to Spain and accept a position at GEICAM, a Spanish breast cancer research group, to act as translational project manager, to control and develp research projects in the field of breast cancer research.

During my scientific life I have published numerous research manuscript and participated in numerous scientific conferences, with a national and international scope. All of them in the field of genetics and breast cancer genetics.
