Andre Fehr

As a translational cancer researcher, the transfer of research findings to the bedside is my primary motivation. By training, I am a molecular biologist/geneticist and have worked for the last 20 years in cancer genomics of solid tumors (i. a. salivary gland- and breast tumors). My core research interest is identifying and characterizing genetic alterations in solid tumors and understanding their consequences for tissue physiology contributing to tumor development. My work has resulted in numerous publications in well-respected scientific journals.

Furthermore, I act as a scientific counselor, supporting biotech startups and diagnostic labs in implementing new techniques/assays and business development.
