Ana Teresa López Jiménez

I am a Biochemist with more than 10 years of research experience. I have done my Ph.D on Biochemistry at the University of Geneva (Switzerland), where I have specialized on the mechanisms of mycobacteria infection. Now I am based at the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine (UK), where I am developping my postdoctoral work on Shigella pathogenesis and host response. I have trained in biochemistry, molecular biology and cell biology, and I consider myself an excellent microscopist and image analist. I am currently exploring Python programming and machine learning techniques for the automatization of image analysis pipelines.
