Albert Cot has more than 20 years of professional experience in Industrial R&D, Bioengineering R&D and industry-academia partnerships. He maintains two areas of expertise, both Cleantech and
Life Sciences.

In Life Sciences, he is Partner at Inveniam Group where he develops fundraising and venture building for tech opportunities around Europe and Israel. Inveniam is a transaction and strategy advisory firm, specializing in technology-based deals in Life Sciences and Cleantech.
He is also Associate Professor in the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Barcelona. He has been involved in several Research projects and Clinical trials in Neurodegenerative diseases in Hospital Clinic (Barcelona) as Post-doc researcher. His PhD research was focused on the development of
Software for Image Processing in Molecular Imaging and MRI.

In the Cleantech sector, he has a wide experience in Innovation and Entrepreneurship in the fields of Smart Cities, Renewable Energies, Electrical T&D and Railways Infrastructure and Environmental technologies. He currently heads the Corporate Venture Unit at COMSA Corporation.
He was also president of the Energy Cluster of Catalonia, where he remains as a board member.
