He is a medical doctor, research physician, data scientist, project management specialist with expertise in infectious disease (TB/HIV/hepatitis, vaccine preventable disease), genomic engineering, communicable disease surveillance, clinical and laboratory supply chain management, pharmaceutical trial regulation consumer goods and services, Grant management and Finance, mobile health technology and Bioinformatics. He is familiar with following disease surveillance softwares:e-TB manager, EWORS, CommCare, Nickshay, Mobile App for Tb screening (MATS), TB STARR, EPCON hotspot analytics as well as data analysis tools (Python, SPSS, SAS, Power BI, Tableau, MS Excel, ODK, RED Cap etc) He is currently the Director Strategic Information at the Institute of Human Virology of Nigeria (IHVN). Recently, he provided country level technical support to USAID/Global Fund TB/HIV implementing partners towards meeting and maintaining target for HIV Epidemic control using the TQLA leadership approach to enhance supply chain for commodities, limit bottlenecks and improve HIV testing and disease surveillance. A resource person in the deployment of innovative tools such as HIV self testing kits, recency testing kits, cervical cancer screening kits among others. Between 2016-2019, He was the Nigeria Project Manager at the KNCV Tuberculosis Foundation, a Dutch NGO devoted to eliminating the single most important infectious disease killer, Tuberculosis. He received his medical degree from Obafemi Awolowo University in Nigeria and holds Masters in Health Management from the University of Liverpool as well as a Masters in Healthcare leadership from Cornell University. He has previously led a team of doctors, nurses and laboratory scientist in private sector health innovation and service delivery project in Nigeria, Kazakhstan and Philippines. He has provided management and consulting services at Guidepoint and Lynk on issues around disease surveillance, supply chain management of commodities, legal and regulatory affairs, diagnostic innovation etc in LMIC and published extensively
