I did my PhD in muscle wasting and dysfunction associated to different chronic conditions, including cancer. I also explored in animal models new therapeutic strategies to treat this muscle wasting disease.

Research Scientist – Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center (MSKCC). Nowadays, I’m a research scientist at Memorial Sloan Kettering. My research focuses on the development of new therapeutic strategies to treat lung cancer patients by understanding the the effect of relevant genetic mutations.

Technology Transfer Intern at Center for Technology Licensing (CTL) of Weil Cornell University. Since January 2018 I’m an intern at CTL where I’m responsible of the management and evaluation of a portfolio of scientific inventions for patent filing. My main duties are:
• Draft patent filing recommendations based on analyses of potential market value and size
• Assist with patent prosecution; analyze Restriction Requirements and Office Actions from U.S. Patent and Trademark Office
• Support licensing agreement negotiations; analyze inventions and assess licensing fees and royalties
• Landscape research in assessing the commercial viability of new inventions, identifying potential licensees or investors, developing marketing materials and business plans
