I studied Human Biology at Pompeu Fabra University and I specialized in Pharmaceutical
Industry and Biotechnology. After completing the master in Biomedical Science at
Maastricht University, I joined the Gene Translation group at the Institute for Research
in Biomedicine of Barcelona to perform my PhD thesis. I studied the mitochondrial and
cell cycle functions of a new aminoacyl tRNA synthetase, however, I have a diverse
research experience since I also investigated cardiovascular diseases at Maastricht
University, microbiology and new antibiotics at Ferrer International S.A., and cardiac and
membrane physiology at Rockefeller University, New York.

I am currently working at the Institut d’Investigació Biomèdica de Girona (IDIBGI) as a
project manager in the Business Development Unit, managing the Innovation and Technology Transfer Department.
